Photoelectrochemical Engineering Group (Su Lab.)

Introduction
We are the Photoelectrochemical Engineering Laboratory (PELab), an interdisciplinary research group based at the Graduate Institute of Energy and Sustainability Technology at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. Our work lies at the intersection of materials science, photoelectrochemistry, and sustainable energy engineering. We focus on the design and development of next-generation energy materials and optoelectronic devices, including perovskite solar cells, flexible photovoltaics, photoelectrodes, and advanced light-harvesting systems, with an emphasis on circular economy principles.
By integrating experimental research with theoretical modeling, we aim to create innovative solutions for renewable energy generation, energy storage, and waste-to-energy conversion. Our team collaborates actively across disciplines and with industry partners to translate fundamental insights into real-world applications. PELab’s research is supported by national funding agencies and private foundations, fostering an environment for impactful science and sustainable innovation.
